You can add additional vehicles to your license without having to complete the lower categories. Where can I get a category B+? There are several ways to obtain the category B+ license. You can choose to take a private course and pass the state exam or undergo a practical training at an accredited school. Both options are costly however, you might have no other option if you wish to drive vehicles that weigh up to 3.5 tons. A category B license entitles you to drive a vehicle with a maximum permitted mass of up to 3.5 tons and a trailer with a weight which does not exceed that of the vehicle towing it.
